5 Things I want to see in the Ant-Man movie
5. The hint that Pym particles can grow a person as well as shrink them.
I think one will be likely hinted at more than shown, since the enlarging ability my suspend disbelief a little too far right now, or just look a big silly.
4. For the Movie to have some resemblance of Edgar Wright’s script
Edgar Wright is my opinion one of the best action-comedy director/Writer. Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim, and Shaun of the Dead. He knows how to make a movie feel like a full experience. When Wright left the film last year it was quite disappointing and
3. Ties to Ultron
Ultron debuted this year in Age of Ultron. In the comic books one of the very important elements to both Ultron and Hank Pym is that Pym is the “father” of Ultron. Many of Ultron’s stories have been about strike out against his creator. Now with the Avengers movie Ultron, Stark and Banner are credited as the creators of Ultron. The story of Ultron striking out against his creators was very much downplayed. Unlike some of the other Marvel villains, there’s a higher chance of seeing Ultron return. If Antman maybe throws a hint that Pym was the lead programmer for Ultron. Maybe we’ll see Ultron meet his maker in future sequels.
2. Hank Pym in the Suit
It was a bit surprising when the movie version of Ant-Man was discovered to be the Scott Lang character which is the 2nd Ant-Man. What became more peculiar was that Hank Pym was in the movie, however he is portrayed as the older mentor character. Many people were a little disappointed for Hank Pym to ever show up as a Ant-man, but a recently Lego set has give new hope to the idea.
1. Hope Van Dyne becomes a Wasp.
With the there being such a lack of female superheroes right now it would be great to see Hope don on of Pym’ suits. I think if this happens people will be very happy. Paul Rudd is a great choice as Ant-man and regardless of what they do with the character he will be a great addition to the Marvel roster.

5 Crossover Story lines Marvel should use in future Avengers movies.
- Avengers Disassembled/House of M - Disassembled and House of M are what people call introduction into what Marvel comic books is today. The story line is the Scarlet Witch has gone insane after she comes to the realization that her children that she once had were magical constructs and weren't real. To make matters worse Scarlet Witch has grown to be able to manipulate reality. This warping of reality gets 3 of the Avengers killed.
House of M the sequel crossover to Avengers Disassembled had the New Avengers and the X Men unite to make a decision. Whether or not they had to kill Scarlet Witch. At this time Wanda’s powers are disrupting reality and it could only be a matter of time before this could have terrible effects. Overhearing these decisions Quicksilver returns to his sister's side and convinces her to rewrite reality where Magneto fought and won the war making mutants the most dominant race on Earth.
House of M, mostly focused on the X Men and was not well received by readers, but the series had several different realities to play with. For starters Spider Man was given world where he was loved by all and Gwen Stacy was his wife. Captain America was never frozen and was able to live through old age. Several different superheroes run countries because of their dominance such as Hulk ruling in Australia
This story would likely never happen because of the ownership of the X Men by Fox, but with the recent agreement between Sony and Marvel i think anything is possible at this point. - Secret War (2004) - In this story Avengers discover that their memories have been tampered with and to make matters worse a Assassin of Latvian Origin is attacking the heroes. What they discover is that they were part of a operation by Nick Fury to prevent a war from happening between Latveria and The United States. Although for this war to have been prevented Fury had to do something terrible and essentially create a terrorist attack on Latveria using the heroes as pawns in this fight.
Unlike the previous crossover, I think this one has a much better chance of seeing the light of day, however with the tone of the current movies I feel like wouldn’t see this any time soon. Because it such a dark movie, I think it could be another Captain America movie as those movies seem to be where much of the gray shaded stories happen. - Planet/World War Hulk - This story was tied into a very popular story called World War Hulk that was done the year before that. Many fans hope that we could see a World War Hulk movie, however recently Mark Ruffalo revealed that Marvel does not actually own the rights to a solo Hulk movie at the moment. In this story the Hulk takes revenge on the Illuminati (The group of superhero comprised of Reed Richards, Dr. Strange, Professor X, Namor, and Black Bolt) for send him off world where found happiness only for it to be taken away by explosion from the ship he was sent in. This has a lot of good potential, seeing Mark Ruffalo's Hulk face off against a Robert Downey Jr. Tony Stark would be a good. Definitely something far different from how the two characters get a long in the current movies.
- Secret Invasion/Dark Reign/Siege -
This is 3 big stories that tie one into another. In this story and Alien race known as the Skrulls who have the ability to impersonate other people. The Avengers try end the war but it is Norman Osborn who comes out the hero of the story. As gratitude Osborn is placed as head of SHIELD which he renames HAMMER, and begins to dismantle everything Tony Stark has built. Contrast to what Marvel is doing now this era of Marvel was very dark. The bad guys rule the world for around a good 6 months in the Marvel universe. With the Green Goblin in control he creates a new team called the Dark Avengers which are villains impersonating heroes. Osborn uses SHIELD and his new Dark Avengers to run rampant all over New York until the Seige cross over happens. Siege takes the Dark Reign story line and shatters it when Norman Osborn decides to make an attack on Asgard (which is now floating over Oklahoma). This starts a war between the Dark Avengers and Asgard. The Avengers lead by Bucky Barnes charge into action and stop Osborn from destroying Asgard.
-
Fear Itself -
In this crazy story, Red Skull’s daughter Sin frees the Serpent Odin’s brother who plans to take Asgard. Fear Itself feels like it was meant to be this big action movie. A huge battle between good versus evil. The reuniting of the Avengers and this epic moment where the Avengers don Asgardian armor, how cool is that?
If you guys have any great stories that should be the next Avengers movie besure to leave it in the comments below?

Females in Danger in Comic Books
So if you've followed any of the comic book media outlets, you may have seen this comic book cover for Batgirl #41. As you can see above the image depicts Joker holding Batgirl hostage. Now much of the industry has accused this cover being sexual violent and depicting views of rape. While I can say that this is a vast departure from the very cheery looking Batgirl covers from the previous issues, in my personal opinion I think that people are very over exaggerating. This cover has fallen victim to the war between depictions of the female gender depicted in comics.
The cover is actually an homage to original series "The Killing Joke". In the events of "The Killing Joke" Barbra Gordon is a victim of an attack from the Joker paralyzing her. Over course this was all rewritten a few years ago when DC Comics rebooted all of their main series comic books into what they call "The New 52". The implications of the cover are to remind you and also scare you into thinking that in this cover, the Joker may attack and hurt Batgirl again. People have pointed out that the gun joker holds in his hand is pointing downward, which they would consider symbolism for rape. While the placement of the gun could simply be a coincidence, it could also again be a implications of the past incident of the paralyzation of her legs.
Now, what I next what to mention is the idea of Batgirl being victimized. Superhero stories both heroes and heroines are constantly being depicted as victims of villains. It's just what occurs in superhero story. These moments are usually to elicit an emotional response from you. Now unfortunately being for female characters one of the most known ideas of being a victim is from rape. Let pose this question for you, if we as society associate females being portrayed in peril or being a hostage or as victim associate this as rape, should we completely remove them from ever being in these situations? That would certainly leave the female super hero genre a bit bland.
To sum up my point, I think people look to much into it, and that the superhero genre is always about heroes doing heroic things, and heroes being in peril, and that's things depicted on covers. There are dozens of covers where characters are in peril, that if we negated gender could have implications of rape as easily as this cover. Now I do want to add that I think the tear in the cover may be what triggered a people into this whole controversy, but I counter that but artist using to add to the terror of the situation and the artists attempts to make the situation more genuine. Granted you never see heroes depicted with tear filled terror in their eyes, but these are things that maybe future artist will depict. As we've grown in a society not only have we proven that equality goes both ways. That women can be shown as dominant and empowering, and men can be shown as emotional and compassionate.
