Loot Crate January 2015

As a subscriber to Loot Crate I've been able to enjoy some of the neat items that I wouldn't normally see for sale. This months theme was Rewind and of course they included some classic gaming materials.

Mini 10-Doh Figure

The figure this month is one reminiscent of an old Nintendo cartridge from Squid Kids Inc. Not only that but they have neat references to awesome classic movies and Video games. 

Can't not love a great Back to the Future reference.

While I'm a big fan of Star Wars being run by Darkhorse I'm still at least a little interested in Marvel's take on it.

Fan made Destiny Timeline makes Destiny feel like it has a story.

While thousands of people still play Destiny and argue about what the game lacks. The one things most people can agree on is the lack of a coherent story. Destiny is full of cutscene's (Unskippable I might add), but most of them are full of exposition but none of it worked together to put together a story. Instead we are given Grimoire cards, cards earned through experiencing the game that can only be seen through Bungie's app and Destiny's website. While that gave us more information, people still complain that Destiny's story. One Redditor managed to work on a timeline that gives us a better idea of what is really going on in Destiny.
